Post by ImastumpedPC on Tue Feb 16, 2010 2:39 pm

Hi, as it says do not follow others advice I am have just registered to see if anyone can help. First I have just had a shutdown with services.exe, first time I have ever seen a warning box with 60 sec countdown, was error 1073741819. I hope this helps, the Malwarebytes log:

The other problem I am having, which is common for a lot of people playing the game is for metin_uk, it shuts down, or the PC restarts randomly (wasn't sure if the above and this are related somehow). Any other game is fine from freelancer to requiem as well as many others, with mmo's can open multiple windows on different accounts and they run fine, as soon as metin is opened things go a little funny, metin closing completely with no warning, or the PC shutting down. Here is an example of one of the recorded error files for metin, this one is most common on my PC:
0216 13:35:01019 :: UNKNOWN IME[2057]

attempted.

Have googled it and seems the granny environment isnt all it is cracked up to be and was wondering if this was more likely an error or conflict on my PC or a fault with the game server, seeing as so many people in the game get the error and the IME code and the grannyfileinfo code are the always the same.

Firstly would like to apologise to the board as I think I may have posted in wrong section but the first error I have asked about seemed system related.

Not sure, is rumours there is an antihack system but from what I can gather form the way the team go about collecting information on hackers, vids and monitoring them, that there isn't actually any system in place.

The error that I first posted about also only occured when metin was open, same as only time my PC resets or bsod is when metin is open, yet as I ahve said before, other games run fine, even multiple windows for various reasons from multichar playing to one char and a shop. I idd a complete fresh install of windows, all newest drivers (except grfx card as new one has issues) and a new version of the game itself to install from site.

If anyone has any ideas how to solve this, if it is my PC and not metin software/server would be appreciated, if anyone knows any fix if it is the game software that can be fixed locally would also appreciate some help Smile
