Antivir

I followed the instruction in your forum

Started in safe mode
opened lan setting found no boxes were checked
so ran malwares which was already installed on pc
said i had no infections
restarted pc normally went to facebook to play a game anout five minutes later antivir popped up
i have adminstrator and 1 other user i follwed your instructions for both users

i am running windows xp IE8 and a cable modem

Download [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.

I have not had a reoccurrence of antivir since i shut my pc down for the night amd reopened it today. Not sure if i have got rid of it or if it goes dorment for a while
