This virus has overtaken my other computer. I have found several links for anti-virus to fix it, but the problem is the only site I can get to is theirs (and random other sites that are now popping up - viagra, porn, etc). I have tried to access registry keys, but it will not let me. What can I do to save the computer?

Download [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.

It will not let me access this - or any program. When I try to bring up anything a box with "Security Warning" pops up. Tells me "application can not be executed. The file (changes every time) is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?" Yes brings up the livesoftrock site or sometimes various porn sites. No and in a few minutes "antivirus software alert" pops up and produces the same result. Let the computer sit unattended and the internet will pop up at these sites, but will not let me leave these sites. If I attempt to go to any other site I am told that:
Internet Explorer Warning - visiting this we site may harm your computer!
With an option to "purchase for secure Internet surfing" or "check your computer for viruses and malware" either choice takes you to the livesoftrock site.
