Please visit this webpage for instructions for downloading and running ComboFix:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Post the log from ComboFix when you've accomplished that.

Well I did as you said and downloaded the file, I was asked to disable ay and all anti virus programs, I could not disable windows security essentials, just cannot find it anywhere on my computer. so I still (stupidly) ran the program, of course it crashed and i got a blue screen. After my computer came back on I got a start qup repair screen, telling me my pc was unable to start and was checking for problems.
I do not know what the problem is, I guess at this time I will just leave it alone, i have to say I was scared when after I finally got my computer bacnk on I got a pink screen and had to unplug to get the damn thing to come back on.
My main problem is the viruses im having, the security essentials is finding them and deleting but they keep coming back and like I said, I cannot open certain programs, they stop working before they even stat. SUch as Malwarebytes, most of the time it will say " file system error" and will not open.
When I can afford to, I will take my computer to a repair man/woman to fix. I can only wish that I knew how to do this, it did not occur to me when I was taking IT courses to take the ones to learn how to correct this.
Thanks for your help.
Angela

See if there is a log at C:\combofix.txt.

If so, post it here, please.

Here is the file:
ComboFix 10-01-25.02 - Owner 01/25/2010 21:24:37.1.2 - x86
Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Home Premium 6.0.6002.2.1252.1.1033.18.2942.1368 [GMT -5:00]
Running from: C:\Users\Owner\Desktop\ComboFix.exe
AV: Trend Micro AntiVirus *On-access scanning disabled* (Updated) {7D2296BC-32CC-4519-917E-52E652474AF5}
SP: Windows Defender *enabled* (Updated) {D68DDC3A-831F-4FAE-9E44-DA132C1ACF46}
.
It doesn't say much how you can understand anything from that amazes me. I had Trend Micro Antivius installed when I bought my computer. Since then it has expired and I did delete it, but it still shows up in security and also will caused a blue screen when I installed and tried to run Noron Antivirus in the past. I was thinking what when I buy another antivirus I might buy Trend again or I will have to call the company for assistance in removing it from my pc. Maybe you have some suggestions?
Back to my current virus problem, I had to click on edit to even get the
combofix file to open, when I tried to open it, it stopped working before ever opening, which is my problem, programs will not open and stop working even windows task manager.

That is an incomplete log. Please re-run ComboFix, and post a new log.
