Removing Avira

Post by majinkoola on Sat Jan 23, 2010 6:03 am

I installed Avira but don't especially like it, and am going to switch to something else. It does not appear in add/remove programs, so is there a tool I can use to uninstall it?

I tried that and it didn't get rid of everything. The Avira Antivir Scheduler still appears in the services on the system configuration utility. The reason why I need to get this off is I believe it is preventing me from installing Microsoft Security Essentials.

Hello,

Download this:

http://download.cnet.com/Revo-Uninstaller/3000-2096_4-10687648.html

Install it and try uninstalling Avira through there.
