Wont boot.

Post by AkmaYo on Wed 20 Jan 2010, 7:52 am

My cousin's laptop, won't boot. It turns on and goes past the boot screen, but it says "A disk read error has occurred. Press Crtl+Alt+Delete to restart." I tried pressing that but its still not doing anything.

There's no virus on it, cause its never connected to the internet. Its a Dell Latitude D630, with Windows XP SP2.

Do you have your Windows disc? We need to perform a repair. For some reason your Windows files might be corrupted.
