First time poster here. I have read thru some threads and they all entail how to remove the Internet Security 2010 from one's machine, however once that is removed and one is stuck in the login/logout loop how do you fix this?
Thanks

I can boot into safe mode. This started happening after I ran Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and deleted all the things it found. I keep reading somewhere that I have to edit some file in the registry named usinit or something

Okay, boot to Safe Mode with networking.
Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE
Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE
- Double click and run the installer.
- It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
- After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
- Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.
