Norton Antivirus renewal issue

Hi. My name is Michele. I just registered on here and I desperately need some help.

I am connected to the internet, can browse anywhere I want to with no problem, but when I go to renew my Norton Antivirus, it tells me that I'm not connected. I have disabled my firewalls, run an online scan from Bit Defender, made sure that SSL and TSL were enabled, but am still having the same problem. Any suggestions would be very very welcome.

Open CMD, Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults by typing: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset TCP/IP stack to installation defaults by typing: netsh int ip reset reset.log

Restart your PC.

If it doesn't work, download Winsock XP Fix from here, save it to your Desktop.

Double click on the exe on your Desktop.
Press the "Fix" button, then restart again.

See if you can connect now.
