How do I change my WPA Key to a WEP key so I can connect to a Dsi. I am windows XP

Hello

Log into your router by keying into the browser: 192.168.2.1

The password should be admin. You can change the settings to WEP from there.

The computer or do you mean the internet (www.192.168.2.1)

have also tried http://192.168.2.1 but that did not work either

192.168.2.1 is for SMC Routers. Does SMC make Seimens routers

hav managed to get into the router tools. Hav got into a pickle.
To log in it wants user name and password. I tried my email address and admin. willnot accept and can not go forward or back

what else could they mean by username and password

thank you very much admin and admin got me in. I hav changed from WPA to WEP,but there are lots of digits. I pressed the generate key and it gave me:
Key 1......................10 digits
Key 2....................... ,,
Key 3...................... ,,
Key 4...................... ,,
can I get my key from these

also My laptop will not link to router so I supose I will have to change the Key in there as well?
