Security Tool, Cannot Run Malwarebytes...

Security Tool was infected this morning via an internet scan by another employee. I have been through many forums trying to remove it like running rkill and then Malwarebytes. After rkill runs I am able to start setup to install Malwarebytes but after I choose the language it is gone. The Security Tool program keeps me from seeing the Desktop so I have to keep clicking the desktop icon on the tool bar at the bottom. I cannot Alt Ctrl Del or Add/Rem Progs. All other processes I need helping doing because I am not very savvy in this area but I can follow the process if I know what to do or problem solve this. Thanks, please help.

So, I went to some OTHER forums and it tells me to dl zip file for Malwarebytes, well I cannot open the zip file, it opens and closes before I can do anything. Also I cannot install hijackthis... all the threads have these instructions and I cannot get past it. rkill won't stop the pop ups.

Please download the current version of HijackThis from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

  • Double click and run the installer.
  • It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  • After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  • Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.
