Solved Requesting Video Driver Assistance

Post by robear1991 on 29th December 2009, 8:25 pm

This passed November, I was playing The Sims 3 and the computer battery died while the game was in play. Ever since then I couldn't play The Sims. The game itself runs, but on the loading screen the text is blacked out and blocky. It's the same on the game menu, but when entering actual gameplay, the screen is black except for the bottom menu. The text on that menu is blocky, too.
Recently I've just tried to play an MMORPG called KalOnline. The screen is whited out and it's like it's shades of light.

I think the problem might be my video driver, but I'm not sure. Help me fix this, please!

System:
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3

Computer:
Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo CPU
T2500 @ 2.00GHz
1.99 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM
Physical Address Extension

~~~
thanks in advance<3
