Windows 7 update installation - slow?

Post by Danni8173 on Sun 27 Dec 2009, 12:04 pm

Hi guys, I received a new laptop for Chrissy and used it for the first time yesterday, however when i went to shut it down for the night i got a message saying.... "do not turn power off or unplug the computer .... installing update 1-10" so i waited until the update got up to 9-10, however as this last bit of update seemed to take forever i went about and did a few things (got ready for bed) and came back to it... still 9-10, so i went to bed.

I woke up this morning and the installation was still up to 9 -10. Is this normal?
thanks guys
Danni
