BELAHZUR's or Anyone PLease Assist.............

Post by babybrown98 on 27th December 2009, 12:53 am

Belahzur my sister referred a thread that she had your assistance with. It was on how to I guess clean her computer and it was back in February. Her ID is Tierac. Now, I was doing exactly what you had told her, and downloaded avenger, and ran it; my computer rebooted just like hers, however when it got to the part where she had to paste the outcome of what avenger found and you told her what to paste in the little box on avenger so that it could delete it--you said for the rest of us who are followinf along NOT to put what you gave her because it could mess up our computer. Well, I want to know what should I do now? Whatever you told her, her computer has been totally wonderful ever sense. I have two computers here; one a laptop, and they both are probably highly affected.

ANywho if you, or anyone else can help me, here's what avenger put up after it rebooted my computer.:

Hello.
DO NOT use the avenger without instructions from me, the avenger is very powerful, which is why I placed that warning there, this tool will leave your machine dead rather than fix it if used incorrectly.

Please download the current version of HijackThis from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

  • Double click and run the installer.
  • It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  • After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  • Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.

When I tried to open up Hijackthis, by clicking on the link you provided, it only came up with a bunch of question marks and symbols and stuff. Is there another way I can connect to Hijackthis

Hello.

Please download the LSPfix from here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

  • Open HijackThis
  • Choose "Do a system scan only"
  • Check the boxes in front of these lines:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

    O20 - AppInit_DLLs:

  • Press "Fix Checked"
  • Close Hijack This.

Please download and run this tool.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

Post the contents of the MBAM Log.
