Uninstalling K-Lite Codec Pack

Hello!
I've been trying to uninstall K-Lite Codec Pack because I think it's the reason my Sony Vegas Studio 9.0 keeps crashing. But every time I try clicking the uninstall option under the K-Lite folder in the Programs folder, I keep getting this error message:
“C:\Program Files\K-Lite Codec Pack\unins000.dat” file is corrupted. Cannot uninstall.
I'd appreciate help or advice for this. Thank you!
