User Account Information

Post by JAMSTARR on 8th December 2009, 12:51 pm

Good Morning,
I didn't have a user account set up previously and I set one up yesterday, what I want to know is, I set it where my files would be kept private. How can I undo that? I would like to be able to create another account where it can be seen. Thanks in advance for your responses.

when you created your admin account, it should have gave you the option to "keep my files private" or ÄLLOW ACCESS" another use may be able to see files you add or have on the C: drive ect. but shouldnt be able to access them, anything you want them to have access to either right click the file, go to properties, sharring and security, set access for it. or put in the my shared folders that come default on xp.

Yes it did give me that option, now I don't want that option anymore I want to be able to have two admin account and one limited. How can I create the other admin account to share those files? Do I have to duplicate the current user account I have?
