C++ Starters

C++ Starters

Since I wanna endure my study in C++ can anybody tell me what to do first in order to enchance my C++ skills and btw I wanna use this C++ talent of mine in making my very own games though. So any idea on what should I do first, And I kinda forgot I don't have a C++ software and other softwares that I should use in order to create a easy game.

The best one I found to start with (and I am going out on a limb here), would me Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition

i use Codeblocks ide with the gnu compiler all of witch you can download from their site http://www.codeblocks.org/downloads/5 or you can use dev c++ personally i like codeblocks better because it keeps things better organized but they are both free if you like try them both out and pick one for you self.
When it comes to tutorials try http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/ i found it very helpful.
