SLOWED BY VIRUS OR MALWARE...BACKDOOR BOT ?

Post by karenor on Mon Nov 09, 2009 12:48 am

Hello:

I was recently infected by the Backdoor Bot. Got rid of that after two sessions with helpers here at Geek Police. Thank you so much. Now my computer is very, very slow. I am worried that the Backdoor Bot is back of something else may be attacking my computer. Prior to the Backdoor Bot experience my computer was running great. After the clean ups my computer would run great also. I am running Windows XP with service pack #3. All items are up to date including the most recent items from Microsoft just released on 10/13/09. I also have Mbam, Spy Bot, Advanced Disk Cleaner, CCleaner, Spy Blaster, Malicious Removal, Windows Defender, AVG, Super Anti Spyware, Baseline Security Analyzer and Advanced System Care, Trojan Remover and Super Anti Spyware. I am posting a Mbam and Hijack This.

Thanks,
Karen
