    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Antivirus Pro 2010] "C:\Program Files\AntivirusPro_2010\AntivirusPro_2010.exe" /hide
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SetDefaultMIDI] MIDIDef.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [mserv] C:\Documents and Settings\Chris Perry\Application Data\svcst.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [svchost] C:\Documents and Settings\Chris Perry\Application Data\svcst.exe
O8 - Extra context menu item: &Search - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

  • Press "Fix Checked"
  • Close Hijack This.

Please download and run this tool.

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.

  • Please download DDS by sUBs to your Desktop (Important!!) from one of these locations:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
  • Double click DDS.scr to run.
  • When complete, two logs will open. Save both of the report to your Desktop.
  • Copy and paste DDS.txt back here, I don't need to see attach.txt just yet.

The spyware doesnt seem to be running anymore. What is going to happen by doing the above with OTMoveit? I am just wondering because I feel a bit hesitant to post such things on the internet. Although I really do appreciate the help you have given me so far.

Re: removing spyware

The malware has dumped a lot of "fake" files which just sitting there are harmless, but running them could trigger all these problems all over again. Trust me, nothing personal will get posted here, we have our helpers (the guys in the green suits), and the mods/admins who watch over this forum and edit/report posts that contain personal details like email adresses and such.

Please run [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] online scan.

  • Click Scan now.
  • Read and put a Check next to Yes I accept the terms of use.
  • Click the Launching HouseCall>> button.
  • If confirmed that HouseCall can run on your system, under Using Java-based HouseCall kernel click the Starting HouseCall>> button.
  • You may receive a Security Warning about the TrendMicro Java applet, click YES.
  • Under Scan complete computer for malware, grayware, and vulnerabilities click the Next>> button.
  • Please be patient while it installs, updates, and scans your system.
  • Once the scan is complete, it will take you to the summary page.
  • Under Cleanup options, choose clean all detected infections automatically.
  • Click the Clean now>> button.
  • If anything was found you may be prompted to run the scan again, you can just close the browser window.
