Unexpected ping spikes

Post by hotchicken33 on Sun Oct 04, 2009 12:25 am

Hello, I play a lot of games online. Few months ago I was running most games fine on multiplayers with low ping. But now my pings are higher than normal. For example, if the people in the game have ping of around 20-30, I will have around 100. And I will lag badly. Is there a solution to this?

Hello,

The ping depends on the distance between you and them. If you're far away from them, your ping will usually be higher. Try joining servers nearer to your country or city.
