Solved harddrive

Post by Stephon on Wed 30 Sep 2009, 1:32 pm

Ive recently installed Windows XP Home edition and for some odd reason the main partition is Local Disk (I:) when it's suppose to be Local Disk (C:)

How can I change it? I'm trying to install some drivers and they are saying it cannot find the letter/path to install.

Thanks

Stephon

Right click on My Computer and click Manage. Then, select Disk Management.

Right click on the drive listed that you want to change the letter for, and click Change drive letter and paths. That should do it.
