Aspire one Moniter

Post by Pokerking98 on Fri Sep 25, 2009 12:14 am

I currently have a Dell windows xp PC. And a Acer Aspire One running linux. Something happened to my acer and the middle of the screen is broken. So I decided to try and get it working on my PC's monitor. I connected my VGA cable from laptop to monitor. And All was well. But is there any way that I can use the mouse and keyboard connected to my Dell on my Acer, so I don't have to keep on switching the cables back and forth

Hello,

You can't do that, one computer can only read one keyboard and mouse at one time.

Hello,

I'm not sure if it will work on a Linux, but if it does, you need to get something like this: http://www.usbgear.com/USB-Sharing.html
