Solved Problem with Firefox and flash

Post by Oneiros on 17th September 2009, 1:10 am

Hello guys,

Everytime I try to run a flash app with Firefox, it uses up to 60% of my processor and it goes extremely slow. I'm running firefox 3.5.3

Thanks in advance!

Hi

What version of Flash are you running?

(How to check: right-click on a Flash object and click About Adobe Flash Player)

Solved Re: Problem with Firefox and flash

Hi again

Let's try this workaround.

Right click on Flash object and click Settings. Uncheck "Enable Hardware Acceleration". If this fails to solve it, then I recommend to uninstall Adobe Flash ActiveX/Plugin from Add or Remove Programs (Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs). Then, restart the computer. Lastly, download and install the latest from Adobe.com.

Review my feedback, if any questions, please ask.
