I got this trojan "Personal Anti Virus", or pav.exe or virut, it goes by alot of names by clicking on my flashing automatic updates. It looked just like the real thing. Now I've gone to all of the tech sites and I really am looking for a way to remove this crapola without going into the registry. It (I am in safeboot now) does an "about:blank" every time I go to a webpage. I've tried dowloading the suggested antivirus software and now I can't rid of those, please help!

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE
- Double click and run the installer.
- It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
- After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
- Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.
