I seem to be having some problems with something calling itself personal antivirus which has attached itself to my web browser, i have the folder and deleted it but it keeps coming back. I found some kind of file in windows task manager in processes ( i ended the process which seemed to get rid of the icon and the pop ups from the bottom right side of pc but what i am getting now is the message below everytime i open a webpage.
Please tell me how to get rid of it, i would appreciate any suggestions :-)

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

  • Double click and run the installer.
  • It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  • After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  • Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.
