wmp cannot switch sounds

Post by Lance(HAOH) on 1st August 2009, 11:50 pm

I have always been able to switch between audio channels in Windows Media Player 11 but recently, when I played vcds which contained video with dual sound content, there was no option for me to choose to switch it to play one sound only. Could someone please help me to remedy the problem? Let me think

Hello,

I'm not sure how to do that in Windows Media PLayer, but you can try and get VLC.

I have found a solution. To anyone who has a similar problem, just download and install this codec: http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/

VLC doesn't need codecs, plus it supports almost all known video formats.
