Help PBR 2. . .done error

Post by blueeyesfl1 on 24th July 2009, 1:43 pm

I got this this morning on my Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop this morning. It was fine last night. I know I can do a restore of the system, but HELP I have all my pictures on here. Is there anyway to save them?

When I turn the laptop on, it goes to a page where is has the above error. and a black screen with www.Dell.com. It won't go any further.

Hello,

The only solution to this is either to perform a restore Windows to it's factory state.

Follow the steps here: http://www.geekpolice.net/tutorials-guides-f13/dell-system-recovery-partition-hotkey-instructions-dell-pc-restore-t7661.htm

I'm afraid not, but If you have another computer which you can connect the current hard drive to, you can remove the hard drive and plug it in and transfer the pictures over.
