Websites wont display and mouse pad not working correctly

Post by larrydavid on Thu 23 Jul 2009, 2:09 am

I have a lenovo laptop running vista and recently the mouse pad began not responding all the time...literally running my finger over it and the arrow on screen doesnt move (this happens frequently), and also I am not able to view nearly half of websites (cannot connect to the internet), even though the connection is actually fine. I dont know if this i the right forum for this problem - but thought it may be due to spyware or something? Any help would be much appreciated! thank you.

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

  • Double click and run the installer.
  • It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  • After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  • Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.
