Blue Screen of Death

Post by ree30ree on Wed Jul 08, 2009 7:29 pm

Hi I was online when my monitor went black, I had to shut it off manually and restart when I did it said computer recovered from critical error, then the microsoft box came up and it said Blue screen device or driver. I have not installed any new hardware, an adaware, spybot and my anti virus got nothing. My computer is 6 years old. Please help or should I just dump it cause its old?

I don't think this is malware related but hardware related. If you got a BSOD it was probably due to faulty hardware since the computer is old because I see no sign of malware.
