Solved windows unable to shut down

When I shut down windows, the computer goes through the whole procedure only to turn itself back on again.the only way of turning it off is at the mains, which i dont like doing.

Hello,

Try to press the power button and see if it turns off. Do not press and hold the power button.

no that doesnt work goes off and comes back on again

this is the error log/report that came up when it turned back on

Could be a process running before shutting down that's hanging it.

Also, there could be a BIOS solution to his problem, or you could have software incompatibility issues.

Even if none of this helps, you should try this to prevent any further problems. Make sure you have all of your Windows updates up to date, and also go to your manufature's website for updated drivers, firmware, and sometimes even BIOS.
