i get it but i dont get it
i had a fairly aged computer about 5 yrs old with 512 mb of 200 mhz ram a 800 MHz (200 MHz FSb) cpu and a really good fan the original power supply so i tried increasing the Fsb multiplyer by just 1x and when i start up my computer after i get nothing it doesnt POST just both lights on solid in front i know nothing was damaged (hard drive ,ram, pwersupply ,graphics card etc because i used it in another computer(this one) and i have spare parts of them all ( i collect computer parts) that also dont work it still doesnt POST
so is it a bios issue or sumthing else this is not so much to save the computer its more just personal curiosity however it would be nice to save the computer cause my bro wants one
anyway no rush ,
seth
