How to Remove Alpha Antivirus [Removal Guide]

This guide will give you easy instructions on how to remove Alpha Antivirus for free.
What is Alpha Antivirus? (Information)
Alpha Antivirus is a fake security software which uses fraudulent strategies by displaying false or exaggerated security issues on your computer rather than any legitimate ones to coerce you into purchasing their software.
Alpha Antivirus is a new malicious specimen from the same family of fake security software as Personal Antivirus

Follow these instructions to continue:
1. Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc.
2. Navigate to the Processes tab.
3. Locate for a process called Alpha.exe and end it's process by click the End Process button at the bottom left hand corner of Task Manager and click Yes.
4. Continue with the instructions listed below to remove Alpha Antivirus completely.
1. Please download this removal tool: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.

2. Install Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware by double clicking on mbam-setup

3. Follow the prompts. Make sure that Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware are checked. Then click finish.

4. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware will automatically update itself after the installation, click the OK button to close that box and you will now be at the main program Window as shown below.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware with the latest database. Make sure that Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is closed before installing the update.
5. Close All opened Windows, Programs, File or Folders.
6. Make sure you are on the Scanner tab. Select Perform quick scan then click the Scan button as shown below.

7. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware will now start scanning your computer for infected files as shown below.

8. When the scan is finished a message box will appear, click OK to continue.

9. Click Show Results.

10. You will now be presented with a screen showing you the malware infections like shown below. Yours may look different depending on the infection you have.
11. Click on Remove selected.

12. When removing the files, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware may require you to restart the computer in order to do a complete removal. If it displays a message stating that it needs to restart, click Yes.

13. After that you can close the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware window, your computer is now cleaned from the malware infection.

Follow these instructions to continue:

that didnt work
first off I wasnt able to access the task manager and I finished the scan and did everything you said, but it said there was an error right before reboot and Alpha is still on my computer and better yet malwarebytes anti-malware program does not open anymore. I am stumped and I would rather not have to reinstall windows

help
I am trying to delete this virus by following the step-by-step directions; however it wouldnt let me download that anti-malware program. So I found it on another website and downloaded it; however it wont let me open it. I suspect the virus is blocking it...still have the alpha antivirus on my computer..what should I do to remove it?

Make sure you run an update before doing the scan. I thought I had and apparently had not so running the scan found nothing the first time.

I tried using your guide but it didn't help me get rid of it. It got rid of other stuff but not this alpha antivirus. The malware was working but it didn't delete this. I was so happy because I thought I was going to get rid of it. So...is there anything else I can try to do? I'm currently using my other account on my laptop because my main one, the internet is blocked by alpha antivirus. But someone helped me fix this one a little bit, but it's not gone completley. I'm rambling here so sorry if I don't make sense. Please help if there is anything else that I can do to get rid of this.
